Combat#
- The Possessed Goblin Axe now heals you for a tenth of the damage that actually lands.
- Goblin Axes hit much harder, including the ones goblins and hobgoblins swing at you.
- Goblins around Alderwic take more hits before they fall.
Skills#
- Oak logs light at Firemaking 11 (20 XP). Willow logs light at Firemaking 21 (30 XP).
- Fletch a Willow Bow at 21 from a willow log and a bowstring (35 XP). A birch bow is now log plus bowstring in one step (15 XP), with no unstrung bow in between.
- The Skills unlock list now covers Fishing, Firemaking, and Cooking. Fish rows show the catch level (trout 11, salmon 21, sturgeon 31).
Worn gear#
- New Willow Bow: Dexterity 21, and it can fire bronze, iron, and steel arrows.
Inventory#
- When a quest asks you to equip a kit, every required item is outlined in the bag (daggers, bow, and arrows together), not just one of them.
Quests#
- Learning the Ropes still starts with Marlow in Alderwic. Accept sends you to Kippy; the extra post-accept “Talk to Marlow” step is gone.
- Off-screen quest arrows are larger and flash so they are easier to follow.
World#
- A few goblins have been moved or cleared from Alderwic. A fox and a deer have shifted in the woods.
Gathering#
- More shrimp spots by Alderwic.
- Mined-out copper, tin, iron, and coal rocks swap to a depleted rock (still Examinable) instead of sitting there looking full.
Settings#
- Potato now cuts fill-rate hard: HDR off, no extra light patterns on the ground, no fading between model detail levels, water only does the extra refraction pass when Water is High, and meadow grass is thinner. Low also simplifies terrain paint. Leaving Potato puts the full look back.
- Display has HDR On and Off. Named presets set it (Potato off; Low, Medium, and High on). Your own choice sticks until you pick a named preset again.
- Frame rate cap now includes 30, alongside 60, 120, and Off.
