Combat#
- Plate grants flat max HP: +30 bronze, +60 iron, +90 steel, +120 mithril per piece (full five-piece +150 / +300 / +450 / +600). Unequip keeps the damage you already took
- Plate HP does not raise the Hitpoints skill tile, resting regen, or combat level
- Robes and caster capes add effective Magic for combat and mana: wool +1, hemp +2, flax +3 per piece (full four-piece +4 / +8 / +12)
- Effective Magic feeds orb hits, Blast, Ward, Heal, Magic Resist, and the mana pool. Equip gates, spell unlocks, XP, and combat level still use trained Magic
- Mana is 100 + 10 per effective Magic after 1 (was 7). Level 10: 190 (was 163). Level 40: 490 (was 373). Regen stays 1% of max / 5s, so those pools drip faster
- Health and mana potions share a 12s lockout (was 10s)
- Health Potion 1/2/3 restore up to 300 / 800 / 1300, still capped at 30% of max HP (were 1000 / 1800 / 2600)
- Mana Potion 1/2/3 restore a flat 100 / 300 / 500 (no longer 7/8/10 plus 25% of max)
- Cooked food heals its full amount: Shrimp 300, Cooked Meat 400, Trout 500, Salmon 800, Sturgeon 1100 (no 30% cap)
- Leftover loot from a previous kill stays on the ground after that NPC returns. It does not jump onto the next corpse
- Meadow rock cliffs match the rock you see. Grass beside them is walkable; the cliff face blocks line of sight
Skills#
- Every skill caps at 40 (320,710 XP). An award that would ding 41 is refused in full
- Skills tab: worn Dex / Magic bonuses show yellow; potion boosts stay green. Hover splits trained + Armour + potion
- Farming now lists seed unlocks on the skill tile
- Your High Scores sheet no longer crushes Rank / Level / XP
Spellbook#
- Blast, Ward, and Heal scale with effective Magic (trained + robes + potion)
Worn gear#
- Equipped capes sit on the back instead of clipping through the torso
Inventory#

- Existing over-cap stacks stay. You cannot add more onto a stack that is already over 10
Bank#
- Deposit X and Withdraw X prompt for a count
- Equippable bag items keep Equip while the bank is open
Shops#
- Every 5 minutes, each line moves 1% of the way back to its shelf default (at least 1). High-stock lines (1,000-pack arrows, wool, hemp, flax) refill about 10 per pulse when empty. A 10-pack or 50-pack line still moves 1

- Crafting leather: helm 3, boots 5, legs 8, body 10 (were all 1). Hard leather 13 / 15 / 18 / 20 (were all 11). Troll hide 23 / 25 / 28 / 30 (were all 21)
- Crafting cloth: wool hat 3, bottom 8, top 10, cape 10 (were all 1). Hemp hat 13, bottom 18, top 20, cape 20 (were all 11). Flax hat 23, bottom 28, top 30, cape 30 (were all 21)

- Lit fires gain Add log. 7s per matching log, no overlevel speed-up. XP matches lighting that log: birch 30, oak 60, willow 90. Cook stays after Examine; Add log is never left-click. Hits interrupt Add log (log stays in the bag; fire stays lit)
World#
- Top bar shows how many players are online
- World map place names use a heavier black stroke so they read over icons
- Minimap and world map tiles are freshly painted
- Hitsplats no longer pop when that actor is off-screen
- Discord desktop shows you playing Aldermere Online
Settings#
- Graphics: Hide Roofs. Selectively (default) hides upper floors only while you are inside. Always hides them even from outside. Walking past a shop no longer strips the roof by default
NPCs#
- Soldiers and Sergeant Tom call each other for help within 15m
- Leather-kit Soldiers now fight with a Birchwood Bow and Bronze Arrows (35m, 8m minimum) instead of a steel battle axe and wooden shield
- When the last player leaves, NPCs walk home instead of chasing a leftover path
