Combat & NPCs#
- Reavers drop their hard leather helm, body, legs and boots more often.
- Reaver Captain drops troll hide helm, body, legs and boots more often, and can now drop green d'hide armour, Oak, Willow and Swampwood Bows, Steel and Mithril Daggers, and Steel and Mithril Arrows.
- The wrong bow names the one you need. Example: "You need a swampwood bow to fire ebony arrows."
- Codex on a fightable NPC: your kill count, Obtained or Not yet on each drop, and the last 16 kills with the time in UTC and the loot that dropped for you. Friendly NPCs are not logged. The log starts with kills after this update.
Bank#
- Withdraw as Item or Note. A note is paper stamped with the item. It stacks in one Inventory slot and cannot be worn. Depositing it returns the real item to the bank. Examine: "Swap this note at any bank for the equivalent item." Silver Coin cannot be noted.
World#
- A fire you light shows a gold MM:SS countdown within 20 metres, and when you point at it.
- Chop uses the trunk. Clicking the buried roots no longer starts a chop.
- Inspect a fully grown fibre plant: "The [crop] plant is fully grown. Harvest the fibre now, or let it go to seed?" Choices: "Harvest fibre now (no seeds)" and "Let it go to seed (no fibre)".
- Flax, hemp, wool, and stinkreed capes hang down your back.
- Dropped iron armour uses that piece's model. Items on the ground use a set pose.
Chat#
- Left-click a name in chat to message them. Hover for Message, Add friend, or Ignore.
- Friends: "Name has logged in." and "Name has logged out." in the private-message colour. An idle friend counts as logged out. A request you send says "Friend request sent to Name."
- Banned words in public chat and private messages are replaced with asterisks. A name that is not allowed is still refused.
- Enter on an empty line does not immediately reopen chat. While a dialogue is open, Enter stays with that dialogue.
- A short drop while you are in the world tries to put you back for about 45 seconds. Idle logout and a kick still end the session.
Settings#
- Player Combat Level and NPC Combat Level: Always on or Selectively. Selectively is the default, and it is separate from hitpoint bars.
- Selectively, a hitpoint bar shows when you point at them, during a fight, or while they are missing hitpoints and the name is showing.
- Player HP Color defaults to Green. Enemy HP Color defaults to Red. Choices: Red, Yellow, Green, Blue.
- The Game settings list scrolls.
- Loot All shows Space on the button.
